Amari - good to deal with ? Speciale vs. Pista - thoughts
Discussion

Hi there thinking of getting either a Pista or a Speciale & Amari Ferrari seem to always have a lot of nice cars - anyone had any dealings with them ? Are they OK ?
Also any thoughts on Pista vs Speciale welcome.
Thanks in advance.
IMO who you buy from has very little importance, it’s the car that is king. PPI will tell you all you need to know about the car, if there are any issues then discuss and if not satisfied with the answers, walk away. Also any thoughts on Pista vs Speciale welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I went to view their stock before I bought my 355.
I spoke to Mr Amari (not sure if thats his name) and he was a fairly straight forward guy.
Was fairly open and honest about the cars and their condition.
Got a general good vibe from him, little bit of sales patter but had a lot of time for us and we were in the showroom for an hour even after I told him we were only window shopping at that stage. Showed us round the workshop and what work was being done to a couple of cars in the workshop.
If they had a car in stock that I liked / could have afforded then I would have felt confident to buy.

I nearly bought the white F12 they've had for over a year now!. Spoke to the salesman,
but I couldn't get through the salesman dribble of how amazing the car was and how lucky "I" was to be buying it !
But a year on..... they still have it, now £20k cheaper, its a shame he didn't know how to handle the customer (me)
I have met Mr Amari at Goodwood in Lamborghini hospitality and I really like him

Hi R haven't dealt with Amari personally but he seems to have a reasonable reputation here in the Northwest at least.
Despite his masterly selling skills there is no reason to suggest his outfit is no less reputable than Romans or Redline et al.
As others say its more important to evaluate the specific vehicle.
Pista every time btw I always prefer newer despite the Speciales obvious attractions.

Tough call on Speciale vs Pista - still not sure either way - head says Speciale but as I say, not 100 % sure. Have you still got your 458 ? Despite his masterly selling skills there is no reason to suggest his outfit is no less reputable than Romans or Redline et al.

The lightly used Pista looks more and more compelling at the money especially if the new GT3 is £150k+ with some spec. Reckon this Autumn could be the time to buy a Pista poss £225k ish then hopefully.
