As a past 458 owner which i sold last July to get my current Grigio Ferro 488GTB i particularly like this video which tallies with my sentiments. The 488 is a masterpiece and Ferrari's unsung hero which doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

Agreed. A masterpiece indeed and a much misunderstood car. Once you really own one and really use it to its limits, in all scenarios, you come to understand just how incredible it is.

The F8 is better again by some margin.

Here were my words on mine after its first Alps trip:

Fantastic written review and stunning photographic skills..It makes my old 458 feel slow and outdated in comparison. Agree on the sound it makes, by far the most pleasant surprise i had when i picked mine up.

I loved the F8. Probably the best sports car I have ever driven. Superb steering feel, Great ride and damping. As good as my Evora but with loads more power

Jays a bit Marmite for me, if you follow him this week with his V8 Quest all the cars have been "very good" "amazing" "perfect" " the one to have" I think he comes across as a bit like a puppy dog, but then who wouldn't driving such cars. But from forming a review on only speeding a few hrs/ days with these type of cars for me is not possible.

I think he said that he drove the 488 1st ? that way he does come across quite positive, but if watch the 458 review ( i think driven after the 488) he seems to have much more praise for that.

Likewise on the 360 V the 430 review.

They are all amazing cars though.
