I see Romans have 4 Ferrari Pista in stock, 1 Spider and 3 Coupe. There seems to be a lot of stock out there not selling. The asking prices seem far too high, maybe they need to be £250k to start moving. F8 will soon be sub £200k.
Any views out there.

Yes, it’s Christmas Day. Go spend it with your family instead of browsing the net for cars and more boring residual questions

The irony is strong here....

But with regards to the OP's question, Yes the yellow spider they have had for months and have reduced by around £40k and like the lesser specced Hartley car, has not sold.

Pistas are selling (slowly) but there always seems to be around 40 cars on the market which will inevitably drive down prices.

According to howmanyleft there are over 500 UK Pista’s....I think Speciale is more like 350. 10% of cars sold is probably about right.

They have a fairly cheap 458 Spider. Not sure how long they have had it, but I think even 458 prices are going down.

That's misleading because there is no differentiation between Berlinetta and Spider Pistas.

Talking of Romans how do they have a RHD SF90 in stock. How does this happen?

Someone has bought it purely to get a quick flip/secure a future limited production car. Since the year dot dealers like Romans have been able to get these cars. I heard a stat earlier this year that 50% of one of the major Ferrari dealers future orders were from customers who has multiple cars on order....it’s fairly obvious why they are doing that.

But how are the same people allowed to do this time and again. Every time I speak to my dealer he says the factory have a team in Germany that is trying to clamp down on this. Must be bks right?

It has been previously surmised that manufacturers facilitate this for publicity

Dealers seem to be pretty rubbish at social media etc.

I've seen that Romans car about 20 times across various social media platforms in the last 24 hours.

I hadn't noticed that they have a SF90 as it's parked in the showroom behind 2 brightly coloured cars , the yellow Pista

and a purple Aventador SVJ .

That's grey for you !
