I have a 488 being delivered next week & cannot wait!!
I need to make a decision on the front number plate, if and where to have it. I have a nice personalised plate, 1 number and 3 letters, with that in mind, I do want it to be fitted to the front, I know some run without.
I would like it as the photo below, does anyone know how this would have been fixed? Does it need drilling into the bumper?
I have seen the quick release type that fits to the bottom of the car & not a fan to be honest.
Thanks All,

Hi,
I’ve had a few 488s, so spent many hours at the front bumper removing plates, sticky tabs and screws or rivets.
I also have 4 character registrations.
I once run without a plate, but didn’t get half a mile before the boys in blue stopped me. That was in London though.
I then had self-adhesive plates that I put on the front left. Nice solution, aerodynamic and also have the BS standard logo but the car looks a bit odd with an offset plate.
The car in the photo probably uses the standard factory plate holder which would have been cut down to size. It is retained by self tapping screws (or rivets) up into the bumper. The chances are they are already there on your car.

It looks like a great machine and i hate to be the bearer of bad news but that is not one of the 70th anniversary edition livery cars. It looks like a standard car, all be it with some nice spec on it that someone has stuck the 70th anniversary badge on. If it is a genuine 70th livery car it will have a dedication plate inside saying which car the spec is based on.Ljrv101 said:

Car looks great, but is that a different car from the first one you were going for? As i noticed no carbon door handles and the rear air intake is now in carbon v red of the first car. Also that 70th anniversary badge has now gone?Gassing Station | Ferrari V8 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
