F430 manual at Car Iconics
Discussion
I would be really nervous about buying a car that has done less than 1000 miles per annum. Some many parts work better if the car is used.
My Ginetta was 12 years old and had 6k miles hen I bought it, it has been part of a collection, it had been serviced but not really driven. As soon as I started using it leaks appeared all over the place, the first year of my ownership was spent replacing pretty much every rubber seal on things like brake calipers, clutch cylinders etc. The tyres had gone hard.
I guess if the Ferrari is just going to sit in a garage as it appears to have done for the first 12 years of life then ok, but of you want to use it......
I would get a proper PPI unless you are getting a decent warranty

I've had three dealers now tell me to steer clear of 430 manuals - apparently don't drive particularly well as all the e-diff stuff designed only for F1. One of them was a Ferrari main dealer and the other two had cars in their showroom to sell. What they would have told me if I'd been interested in buying one would have is another thing I guess!
The F430 manual is an astonishing car. Right time to buy !
Those who pretend that the F430 should be only F1 didn't even see a manuel F430 in their lives.
The 4.3L naturally aspirated V8 coupled to the 6-speed manual gearbox is just pure HEAVEN.
It is the last manual mid-engine Ferrari. Beyond the rarity, it is the driving experience which is awesome.

Owned 360 and 430 manuals, done many miles in both, including a ten hour stint across four European countries in the 430 manual.
Really not worth spending so much more on the 430, especially as in stock form the 360 sounds better.
Gearshift and feel overall is very similar. There is a reason so few were sold as manuals when new, the reality as said is the 430 is better suited to F1.

Each to their own I guess, but I doubt I’ll ever sell my manual one! Those who pretend that the F430 should be only F1 didn't even see a manuel F430 in their lives.

Possible true. I have owned manual F430s and F1s. I presently own a super F1 Spider. The F430 is indeed awesome with either clutch, though of course the Spider is even more awesome .. OK, the manual is great & I especially like the 'clank' as the gear lever is moved thro the gate. Maybe, just maybe, if the price was right and all other things equal, I would prefer the manual. But things are not equal; the premium for a manual is huge and not worth the extra. Moreover, Ferrari will adjust the F1 clutch to suit your driving style and anyway, one learns to use the gearbox to ensure smooth changes. Finally, clutch life is far better than some suggest; even a manual clutch would wear quickly if one always 'rode' the clutch at traffic lights, instead of selecting neutral. That is what I do whenever I stop; I select N. In two years, my clutch has not worn at all. Those who pretend that the F430 should be only F1 didn't even see a manual F430 in their lives.

The guys at Car Iconics get good reviews in Porsche circles.
Harry seemed to like the manual version he drove fairly recently :

And since when did how a Ferrari drives impact on its desirability ?? !!
The example at Car Iconics is a garage queen that'll depreciate the second you drive it ...
