It would be unusual to have an oil leak from the V (but not impossible). Removal of the inlet manifold is dead easy - I’d quote 1.5 hours to remove, investigate and replace (plus gaskets).
In the V there are two oil/water heater exchangers and the variator oil accumulator. Plenty of opportunity for a leak but uncommon in my experience.
However, I’d be inclined to investigate the RMS area first. Clean up and let the car sit for some time. The reason being is that new problems are generally correlated with recent maintenance operations (especially after such a short mileage interval). I’ve just completed an investigation into low oil pressure on a 360. Having warned the client that it could be the main bearings I went on to say that it is more likely that it was the pressure sender we fitted at the last service (which, after proper investigation, it was). A customer supplied sender I might add!
Mods: this isn’t an advert but an attempt to help the OP. My diary is packed for the rest of the year.
