Why not take the car to a specialist like AV engineering, if travelling is not a problem?

Yes, I am limited in the ability to travel, but it is a consideration.
Just looking for some guidance or anyone who has been in a similar situation.

AV Engineering as suggested, Cerberaherts on here is your man. He knows more about these cars than anyone likely to still be in the franchised network.

It would be unusual to have an oil leak from the V (but not impossible). Removal of the inlet manifold is dead easy - I’d quote 1.5 hours to remove, investigate and replace (plus gaskets).

In the V there are two oil/water heater exchangers and the variator oil accumulator. Plenty of opportunity for a leak but uncommon in my experience.

However, I’d be inclined to investigate the RMS area first. Clean up and let the car sit for some time. The reason being is that new problems are generally correlated with recent maintenance operations (especially after such a short mileage interval). I’ve just completed an investigation into low oil pressure on a 360. Having warned the client that it could be the main bearings I went on to say that it is more likely that it was the pressure sender we fitted at the last service (which, after proper investigation, it was). A customer supplied sender I might add!

Mods: this isn’t an advert but an attempt to help the OP. My diary is packed for the rest of the year.

Just to add - check the short pipe from the oil tank to the aforementioned heat exchanger. This would have had to be removed for the RMS and it’s entirely possible that it hasn’t been out back square. No need to remove the intake manifold for this.
