Usually we get mission creep here - what's the reverse ? A couple of months ago it was a Scud or 360CS !
Just bought a big house for us and the family which needs some work thus its time I re-evaluate and eliminate the idea of the 430/360cs. The 360 Spider will be a good "realistic" affordable option. I cant say i am made of money like some on here.
Hope my explanation was satisfactory to your question.
Its pot luck getting your desired spec car on the used car market.
Probably the carbon bucket seats will be biggest issue.
I waited 18 months for similar on a F430 spider back in 2010.
Another rare spec ferrari I literally walked into a ferrari dealer and car wasn't for sale but mentioned to dealer that would be right uo my alley.
Customer had car in for service and was mulling a deal on an upgrade.
Dealer put something to him in and sealed 2 deals in 1 go.
Pure chance, thats how it can go dont give up and hang out for the car you want or the compromise will eat at you especially if one comes up subsequently

Exactly that. I started looking but not seriously for 2 months. Then encountered the 99% matched my desired spec car, but it was the other side of the country from where I am. Car was in NI and I am in London, thought "Nah too far away". But as mentioned it is not often you found your desired spec, so decided to take the plunge much earlier than I participated. 2 years now into my ownership, I have not seen or encountered anything close to my desired spec. Glad that I bought it now.Probably the carbon bucket seats will be biggest issue.

Thanks for the input, I guess being patient is key. I absolutely love the 360's i think they look better with age.
I have looked into costs for the carbon seats, they are mega money even second hand!!

That's a manual though and he says he wants F1.Last time I checked (a little while ago) there were 143 RHD 360 Spider F1s registered in the UK. A good proportion will have shields but a much smaller proportion will have the sports seats.
The thing is, when you're looking for a used car you're constrained by the specs they were ordered in new - unless you want to go down the route of changing the spec which will almost always cost you much more than you'll gain in value (and may even reduce the overall value of the car).
