History checks?

I'm looking at a California T but would like to build up as much detail as I can before inspection. Other than the usual online hp/insurance write off checks is there an easy way of checking service history etc or is it just a case of calling servicing dealers and hoping they're helpful? Any help appreciated!

That's about it,most dealers are helpful but need the owners permission if detail invoices are involved,something to do with dater protection.
Might be a idea that you ask the owner to contact the dealer first.
A lot easier if the car has been serviced at the same garage all it's life of course.

I can't help with service history but may have sales history etc. PM me with the details of the car in question if that might be of any use.
