For the Challenge racing? Had an invite from JCT so going to head down Saturday (in the Fez of course!) Just wondered if anyone else was heading down?

I thought gatherings of more than 6 were not allowed. Certainly no spectator at F1.

Groups of more than 6 are not allowed. But that doesn't mean all events are cancelled (after all, groups of over 30 were not allowed before this coming Monday).

Salon Prive has confirmed it's still on after rule change.

It's okay anyway because the government has set a precedent of ignoring the law if you feel like it

Organised outdoor events with strict procedures for managing distancing, as well as a guaranteed “10 square feet Of space per attendee” mean than Salon Prive and other well managed events get to go ahead. It will be the same with drive in cinema events etc with documented safety procedures.

The events have to do a lot of work to prove they have everything covered.

Was very busy this morning with 8x F8's and 8x Roma's doing test drives on local roads as well as the Challenge Races. All seemed well organised and Covid secure.

I was there for the Roma test drives. Had an hour out around Dadford, Stowe, Buckingham, Whittlebury etc. Seemed like a great all rounder, very easy and comfortable to drive and very savage and sharp if unleashed. Could be a daily driver with real presence and smiles every trip. The only disappointment was the noise.

I was at Silverstone today. Saw a plethora of nice cars on the surrounding B roads, including three Romas , and an F40 driving through Buckingham. I was there in a 1.0 Fiesta taking a family member for a virus test hehe

Yes same here, could easily be a daily driver, very composed and civilised when you want it, and rips round the Rev counter when you want a bit of fun...

Couple of issues for me though, while the roads were quite good, there were a few shudders that went through the structure when you hit a bump, and in fairness to my instructor, he said he’d driven another one that was worse. However these are still pre-production samples.
Also the centre screen was unreadable in the bright light we had today..

Really enjoyed it there were staff everywhere advising on covid it wasn't too busy even inside.

Would have been great to get pit access but I guess you need to buy a few more cars for that. Spotted Simon Cowell having a ride out!
