paddy could not have been more helpful
Only going on my experiences in general with plate glass showrooms in London. Like anything in life there's good and bad experiences ,Have bought cars from Maranello's and have found them both friendly and helpful even though Worzel Gummidge looks smart compared to me. don't judge a book by it's cover comes to mind even if most do. They have taken from the 3rd of July to prep a used car that I was interested in..... It's still not available because they've been busy

I know they are all playing catch up after the lockdown but most have caught up by now especially as it's a sales car and the salesman and company need to earn their wages.if the car requires paint work that will hold things up as it can't be rushed but if not a service and minor repairs shouldn't take over a month. My observations with some not all main dealers are that the workshop seems to work against the showroom instead of working together, don't know why ,maybe it's a bit of internal jealousy. Maybe they can show you the car as it is so you can make a decision one way or another and prepare it after,it can't be at bad a state if they are Ferrari main dealers, not the way to do it but you can't wait around forever.'the busy man is never wise - the wise man is never busy'
I bought from Maranello around a year ago and have to say they were/are excellent.
Lisa was the salesperson I dealt with for my purchase, and the experience was superb from initial contact through to collection. Due to having a few minor issues with the car I have had cause to deal with their aftersales & service departments, and again can honestly say I could not have asked for better.

I'm buying mine from a well respected Indy, his stock is amazing - i'm probably buying their cheapest car because I can't afford a La Ferrari or a 250 Lusso. They have pushed my car to the front of the workshop queue to get it prepared, and the list of "my requirements" is lengthy.'the busy man is never wise - the wise man is never busy'
If a place wants your business and cares about you as a customer they will get their finger out.

Nobody I meet seems to care anymore, nobody wants to work either.........Covid has been the best excuse for the lazy to get even lazier
Thought it was just me,every thing i try to do every whichway i turn i seemed to get blocked and the excuse is always Covid, Anything to do with the Government seems ten times worse.I know we have to be careful and this is uncharted water for all of us but can't help feeling that some are just milking the system.Private businesses are working at what seems almost normally and having to try harder to meet their profit margins were civil servants will get payed no matter what. Apologies to those who do work hard and do give a dam rat rod said:

Unfortunately i'm forced to have to deal with civil servants from time to time and i agree that the vast majority are using Covid-19 to do even less work than they usually do..And on 100% full pay to boot..The UK's mammoth debt will only keep on rising until there is a huge rethink on how much public money is wasted on these wasters.Taffy66 said:

the provision of a man calling in on the off chance to open up would not have been enough for me to travel to the other side of the country.
They are not bothering to open up!! COVID I believe,! its a good job we had people like Churchill
After waiting 8 weeks for the car to be prepped, the car is now in their showroom, but it didn't even get a lick of tyre gel,.
not to mention the miss coloured PPF that was half covering the bonnet, that 'I can have taken off if I want to” he says on the phone.
Even though the car could have been the perfect purchase, I can’t bring myself to spend the money with them.
It's too little, too late. The car is on SOR, so this is just another dealership that doesn't give a damn on presenting a car properly to a customer -
shame on them
the owner of the 488 Spider is £176,000 out of pocket as a result of their shoddiness

Update They must have the CEO onto this now! (has to be blonde)
But instead of prepping the cars they've posted this wording on their adverts
" Not quite ready yet? Let one of our expert dealers help you ".
OMG these guys don't deserve to be selling apples on the market alone anything else
You'll die of old age before the car is ready for you, look elsewhere, they are not worth the wait
