Hi All, not sure if a thread like this has existed before in the Ferrari V8 forum, but there is a popular non-black, non-grey thread in the Aston forum which is always a good place for pictures. As red seems to be the most popular colour choice (and for good reasons), I thought it would be interesting to get more pictures posted of alternative colours too.

I’m new to this part of PH as I’ve only recently become an owner of my first Ferrari, so please take it easy on me if having a non-red Ferrari is somewhat controversial, otherwise a big hello to everyone here wavey and I look forward to meeting up with some of you at a future event.

Here’s a picture of my manual TDF Blue over Tan F355 GTS.

That’s a good innings, how many miles did you do in it ? Total mileage when you sold it ?
Did the failure of the cam variator galvanise you into selling it ?

Bought it at ~21k miles, sold at ~36k miles.

The cam actuator wasn't really a direct reason - but combined with other things made a difference. For a few years, I've had less need for an occasional car and prefer something I can use semi-daily - which for several years was the AM Vantage and for the last year is the 650.
Having an occasional car that I rarely used was OK when there was no significant cost. But the when you need a top end rebuild - and know somebody who recently had an even bigger bill when the heat exchanger in the gearbox failed - it felt like I now had the potential for big bills which I wasn't willing to pay for a car I hardly use.

Buying the 650 meant I transitioned from spending too much on cars - to spending an insane amount on cars - and I really didn't feel comfortable with just how much cash I had tied up in vehicles, especially if the economy is tanking.
On the other hand - my "I'll replace the 360 with something semi-sensible under £20k" isn't working very well, since I can't find anything I like - and the budget looks like it might be at least £35k now........... so I'm not sure I'm actually going to end up with less cash tied up in cars by the time I find something I want!

Looks stunning. I always liked Ferraris in blue. Second best colour after red imo

This looks rather nice though, don't you think?

It's coming up for auction this weekend if anyone fancies a bid. Its JayKay's old car

Thanks! The F355 has been my dream Ferrari, so it’s great to finally add it to the garage cloud9

That’s a shame. I remember your extensive thread on AM ownership and genuinely thought it would be the Vantage that went. I guess things changed yikes
