F430 CEL after Manifold change
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Having changed the exhaust manifolds / headers on my F430 i have had the dreaded Check engine light come on twice ( Bank 1 sensor 1 stuck rich) The ECU is reset no problem and the engine seems to run fine with no obvious problems.
Assuming the sole cause is the change of the manifolds, does this effect the performance of the car ? Is the mixture really running rich ? or is it just the change of position of the sensor in the new manifold giving this reading ??
I guess the chance of the O2 sensor being faulty is low.
thanks
