Do as much digging and checking as you possibly can.

That is all I can say.

I don't know the car but I have a little bit on it. I'm not sure how useful it will be but PM me if you want and I can send you what I have.

Congrats, the car looks great.

I’ve noticed over the last year or so, that they always seems to have their cars priced lower than most other garages.

Is there a reason behind this?

I think the car looks fantastic and assuming all checks out ok that’s a super 458. They do look good in black!

I agree, if everything checks out then its a great buy..There is no safer car to buy right now than a 458 from a financial POV

Do your research on the car of course.

I purchased my Sep 2012 Cayman R from GC Motors in Nov 2013. It was a straightforward transaction and the car has been perfect. I still own it.

Sounds like a certain infamous GT3 which was returned a good number of times for obvious reasons.

Yeah I have seen the price tracking info on it. To be fair to GC it was in the midst of the pandemic. I work in the trade and did actually have a small fire sale just prior to lockdown. Market is on fire at the moment so I accept times change. I wouldn't have bought this April. I'm well aware of GC being local. JCT are doing pretty well as an alternative if this ones not mint. Only problem is I can't convince myself totally on the red hence looking at this black one.

I inquired on it a few weeks ago, sent me a video looked a nice car. I couldn't convince myself on the seats and have now settled for a red one but if i wasn't buying red, black would have been the second colour

i'm sure its a lovely motor , congrats

Well for various reasons I've ended up with a red one as well now. I saw and drove the GC car it was all good and they were most accomodating. We had some issues getting it underwritten which were out of GCs control despite their best efforts. JCT have stepped in and done a cracking deal on one of theirs. Its quite a lot more expensive but better rates and in fairness a lower mileage slightly better spec car and the F warranty is big peace of mind for me being probably quite a poor Ferrari owner!

No issues with GC I had read mixed reports but to be fair to them the standard of the cars they had was high and they have a really good setup easy to deal with even when on this occasion the deal didn't quite work out.

Have sold a few cars to GC over the years, perfectly good cars that we sourced for clients, often from main dealers and looked after correctly during their lives.

Like all dealers they can be a bit cheeky on the purchase price but this helps them stay competitive the retail side. Like most dealers we sell to they inspect before payment.

Any dealer can get caught with a rouge car, I have known a specialist and main dealers sell a car that would have been a total loss had it been insured.
