Hi there,
Do you know the history of this car? who's owned it? was it a track slag? whats to condition? any paint, new panels?

Its been 60k, then 65k, then 69,950, then now 67,500, high miles compared to most but that doesn't concern me.

thanks in advance

Tried to buy this car around 2 1/2 years ago from the same garage when it was up for sale at £85,495 but we couldn't get together on price with my Gallardo, ended up keeping the Gallardo and bought a 18,000 miles car from Maranello's, I don't know why it hasn't sold it is a really nice car infact Maranello's had it on their Website when they took it in p/ex against a later Ferrari and Rolls Silver Wraith by it's lady owner who just spent £12k on it at their workshops and didn't even pick it up just p/exchanged it on impulse. I only know this because i phoned up about it and the guy who's the current owner now ,l think his name is Dominic from memory beat me to it,Also the salesman who sold me my F430 also took that one in p/ex and told me the story. Wish i had those sports seats in my car ,mlne are like big arm chairs. The colour combination shouldn't work but for some reason it does ,most dark grey cars have black or red interiors never seen one with cream but with the black carpets and black racing harness's seems to break it up giving a nice airy cabin, Sorry it sounds like i'm trying to sell you the car but apart from the higher mileage i prefer that car to the one i bought ,The Gallardo is black and so is the F430 so it would have been nice to have another colour as i'm fed up trying to keep them clean. As far as i know i don't know if there's any hidden stories as i only got round to just looking at it on there forecourt while they were closed but if Maranello's were willing to put there name to it so should be ok but can't speak for what may of happened in the last 3 years. .

I looked at this car a few months ago. Couldn’t agree on a price for my R8 in part exchange as they wanted to pay under book and wouldn’t move on the F430. I found the owner quite difficult to deal with if I’m honest.
The drivers seat stitching is also splitting on the bolster but the bigger issue for me was it was advertise as having had a new clutch but there was no paperwork to back this up.
As the previous poster said it did have £12k of work by Ferrari in 2016 but nothing much since.

That's a lovely colour combination. I think the 430's are ageing beautifully especially when you think they are a 15 year old design.

I am still tempted by one even though it wouldn't touch my F12 or the 458 I am looking at adding but I just think the 430's are gorgeous and this would be the kind of car I would be looking at as it obviously been used instead of a garage queen.

The invoices will be in the lady's name and because of data protection Maranello's cannot give this information out without her permission ,I had the same problem with mine,l've got a full service book but not much in the way of invoices although i know what work has been done, l don't think Dominic put much mileage on it as he has so many cars to drive and have their own workshop so i would think they would do any work needed themselves.I also couldn't deal with him as the offer on the Gallardo was to low and that was at £85,k

He had all the invoices but the clutch wasn’t mentioned anywhere and before I viewed I was told by Dominic it was done and he had paperwork for it but couldn’t then find it when I viewed and if I wanted to know the condition of the clutch I would have to pay Ferrari to do it. This coupled with the offer on my R8 put me off.
I don’t think he has really used it at all.

Why can't they just obfuscate the name/address/other personal info of the lady owner and then send the invoices? Data protection is about protecting personal data so if that's not shared, I'm unsure why you need the data subjects permission?

It's the modern world we live in,ask for something simple and they will make it difficult, That's why i only watch Sid James,Leslie Phillips and Terry Thomas films ,the era i wish i could have stayed in,simple and less complicated and nothing was to much trouble, sorry gone a bit off thread.

Thank you for the information, I must say I tried to PX route and the offer on my FFRR was frankly ridiculous, the market is pretty dire right now but Dominic is having non of it with my cash offer, no PX.
I don't trust dealers at all, my last F430 I got from Amari, so I'll just say this, I'd want a full Ferrari health check before purchase, if that is not an option, I'll do it at my cost within the 14 day cooling period, any problems, they'll fix at their cost or refund me in full, thats assuming we can do a deal, but that doesn't look likely, I expect this car to be round for another year or two, god knows what the market will be like by then!!!

One of my favorites, had it on cassette tape but had to conform and buy a modern HD widescreen when my elderly tv with built in cassette player blow up, Just love Terry Thomas and Leslie Phillips they the quintessential English lovable rogues and could never be replaced, Noticed the" Fast Lady" on you tube the other day ,look forward to watching it again, Ding Dong !

Indeed, more value in one post than 30 pages of depreciation threads!

WE always do, don't know why, should be called the washer woman line not super cars, As far as i know it's a good car only problem in Ferrari terms is the mileage which you say your not bothered about, In fact mileage works out under 3,500 miles a year so well under average if it wasn't a Ferrari. Why is it that Ferrari people think the mileage shouldn't be any more than 20k or less ,At least you can enjoy it and not worry about putting a few more miles on, I do know a few Ferrari owners who won't take their cars out for a proper drive as they are scared to turn the speedo reading over from 9k to 10k or 19k to 20k ,. My GTB speedo is on it's second way round, The mileage on this 430 didn't worry me either especially as it not long ago had £12k spent on it at Maranello's sorting all the niggly bits out,for me it was just we couldn't get together on figures, At the price it is today i'm sure the seller is on s substantial loss so don't know if he has much or any wriggle room ,
, . .

Agree with the above, probably not much movement for the seller due to what they paid for the car originally and cost of works carried out.

High mileage in Ferrari terms, but the truth is, Majority of Ferrari owners/potential buyers will also see it this way. If your not worried about mileage, then you can simply enjoy the car for what it is, a raw sports car with incredible sound!

Previously i stated this 430 had been for sale for 2/3 years but apparently it was sold some 2 1/2 years ago and has now been taken in p/ex by the same supplying garage for a Aston Martin, Hope this info is of some help ,
