Hi All,

Does anyone know roughly what the 18,750mile service costs will be at a main dealer?

My car had an ‘annual 2’ service last year @ 16,100miles.

I’ve been trying to contact my local main dealer but they are obviously still closed until further notice.

Thanks

I spoke to Maranello Egham today, their service department is open now.

Had my annual service on my F 430 at Maranello's on the 5/9/18 at 19,702 miles and was charged £941,40 then next annual service on the 24/9/19 at 20,380 miles and was charged £1,796.10, the reason for the £854,70 increase was they said they had to change 2 more fluids than the previous serviceconfused, The car is now out of warranty so i now can take it to a specialist for the next service,i've used QV in Windsor for more than 25 years ,they built my track day 308 GTB and can't fault them, they have quoted me around £650/£700 for the same service and i would actually rather get them to do the next one not just because they are cheaper but i know i can trust them to make a good job of it. Only problem is my car has a full main dealer history which it won't if QV service it so may effect the value if i decide to sell it , Mind you with this Corona virus it's probably only worth a bag of sweets so will just have to keep it forever which won't be such a bad thing,

Heard good things about Meridian, Think they won top Ferrari agent of the year or something similar, Maranello's are just a large corporate company now and only as good as the people they employ, I've had a few problems with them both sales side and workshop and even if i say so myself i am a easy going customer. The name on the building is the same but that's about all,If you want a Ferrari agent stamp in in your service history QV will be of no good to you but i can highly recommend them. They did their apprenticeship with the previous Maranello's when the Colonel owned it,

Meridian are good, friend bought a car from there early this year. Very helpful yesterday and easy to deal with. Colchester are still not open, I will try them and Joe Macari on Monday.

Looking to keep main dealer history for obvious reasons, shame as I’ve heeded good things about a number of local specialists.

Could always try Carrs of Exeter. They would collect on a truck from London and deliver it back a few weeks later. Haven't used them in awhile but when I needed to maintain a main dealer history their work was excellent.

Thanks,

The car is booked in at Joe Macari next week, they’re local and offering collection service, the car was also there last year.

Meridian: Quick quote and good customer service

Maranello: No response at all

Colchester: Still closed

Are they not answering their phones at all?

Left 2 messages and also sent an email.

Colchester are not answering the phone at all & cannot send a message through their website. They are still fully close.

I believe Colchester will be open from. I sent an email to the one on their website a couple of weeks ago, received a prompt response saying that someone would call me soon, received that call last week and got my car booked into the newly opening Sevenoaks service centre.

Thanks Ken,

I was wondering when Sevenoakes would be open, I’m only 15mins away from there so would be ideal.

The car was in at Joe Macari last year, so happy for them to have it again this time. I’ll probably be looking to change the car in the coming months & would look to use sevenoakes going forward from there.

Would be good to hear about your experience there
