I've got a 458 and when the 488 came out I loved the new tail lights with their halo red LED ring and smoked centre. After a lot of research and playing about with different films, I came up with some vinyl overlays that transform the look. These are temporary as they are vinyl but do the job nicely. Posted idea on Ferrarichat and have been inundated with orders!. I make by hand so if anyone wants a set, PM me. Be interested in your thoughts though.

Each to their own, but my 458’s lights will be staying as Ferrari designed them.

He's American. For all of the good stuff in the US, they simply can't leave things alone, often to poor effect.

Fwiw, I love the 488 lights but probably wouldn't try to replicate them. I'm just wondering how this affects the reversing lights?

Probably not what you want to hear but....

Makes the car look like a cheap replica to me - As though someone couldn't afford the real rear lights, so bought some cheap Chinese copies off ebay.

It's your car though, and easily reversible, so as long as you like them, that's all that really matters smile
