Does anybody know of a reputable company that hire a manual 355 GTS for a day/weekend?
Bespokes had one last year but it has recently sold. I’m looking at buying one but wanted to spend some time in one first. I can do the normal google searches but thought it would be better to get a recommendation.

Regards, doggydog.

There seems to be a couple online. does it matter where you go? or does it need to be in a certain location?

I’m based near Northampton but it’s doubtful there’s anywhere around here that’ll have one. I think I would pay the extra to have the vehicle delivered and collected to me (if the cost was reasonable).

Mmm, bad choice of phrase I think, more classic as opposed to latest and greatest.
There are connoisseurs out there that favour the older cars such as the Jaguar E types, Xk120s, Aston martin DB5/6, Ferrari 246 Dinos, 1970/80s Porsche 911 ect ect.
Imo none of the above are long in the tooth, but desirable classics.
This classic car hire website has a few 355s on there books.

I think you may have understood my phrase . I was referring to that particular model and it’s condition as it had covered over 90k and was showing all the signs of this .

At the time there were newer options available to me but I picked this for all the reasons you state .

To the OP I would find an owner who could give you a detail of the ownership experience and maybe generous enough to give you a little run out in one .

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
Books classic only have Berlinettas. I’m waiting a call back from Bespokes.

Hi DarkHorseTerance,
We’ve spoken about your car back in October. I’ve sent you an email.
Kind Regards, Doggydog.
