What would it cost to make road legal?

I think in the UK probably not that much - I’d guess 10k or so should cover it if you don’t go to an official dealer (I was quoted c 10k euros to make a 996 Cup road legal in Germany at some point)
I saw that car on racecarsdirect a few weeks ago and was tempted to buy it - good looking car (no clue about condition etc as did not pursue it)

Edit: not sure though if you can get that splitter and Wing legal - even in the UK

depends how much has been stripped out to go racing
a/c, lights, electrics alone could soon get you into five figures

I will drive my 430 for the first time mid march in silverstone, so can then hopefully give an opinion on the model. Haven't seen it yet, but looks good in pics ...
now need to do a trailer license and buy a cheap SUV to move the bloody thing around - any suggestions welcome

430 Challenge? Would be great to Passenger if thats ever possible. I'm usually on RMA days at Silverstone. I use my wifes Macan to tow my Radical around. It does a nice job, don't think I'd buy one for towing specifically though, maybe a Van or L200 so you can dump spares, tools in etc.

Yup - I think I am there on the 18th (a Wednesday)
I looked at the Macan but the 2,400kg towing limit worries me a little given weight of car and trailer. Might go for a G Klasse ...
I am not sure anybody wants to passenger with me given limited skills on a track I don't know with a car I don't know. If you drive a Radical, you sound much better equipped than me, so maybe you drive the 430 and I passenger

Congrats on your new weapon.
You are now entering a whole new world...Paddock Land smile
Much fun.
On your choice of support vehicle you cannot go wrong with a G.
Access apeture through the rear door is outstanding, and they can pull a house down.

Yes the Radical is only 600kg. That would be fun. Happy to come help if your running the car yourself and need a hand, the pitlane is great place to be.

it looks like it actually sold - for 47k and a 512 for 115k (from memory) - the 512 looks like a bargain on the face of it
