Hi there

Who are people using to insure their Ferrari's worth 100k plus, just had my renewal through and as usual the price for all three cars is just shy of £2500 which has jumped considerably.

Right now I am just looking to insure the 458 and was wondering which companies people are using, I was/am with Admiral multi-car but I feel their quote is rather high with the Ferrari at £1244 for another year, I feel I can probably do better and wondered what others are paying please?

I renewed my collectors policy with Locktons (Chubb policy) in Nov - price increased about 5% from last year with no change in circumstances so I would have thought you shouldn't be seeing a big increase unless your circumstances have changed.

The policy terms are pretty good - unlimited mileage across the cars, multi-site, business use, wedding / display cover etc.

Any good insurance companies that include track cover for UK circuits?

Have you tried Keith Michaels? Speak to Christian, he’s a top bloke and always looks after me.
AIB wanted £2.5k for a 458, he got it me for £1200.

I am with Admiral and my January renewal jumped so I used a few websites to get some alternative quotes, phoned them up and amazingly they found a 16% discount I never knew I was entitled for :-)

Utter racket but need to play the game.

Agree and same for me with Admiral. Get some other quotes and call them, has always worked for me.

Last year I paid £1,280 for 458, X5 & Mk 7 Golf GTI Performance Pack. 10yrs + NCB

Admiral so far are £1200 on the 458, or if I do multi-car with the Abarth it drops to £900 for 458 and £500 for Abarth, yep Abarth has become very expensive to insure due to all thefts in past year it seems as it was only £320 before.

Lockton were £1700 on 458 with guarantee of Ferrari for repairs, track day cover etc.
Keith Specialist Christian wanted £2000 plus

Awaiting a quote from Classic Line who have being great in past for me on cars and also do track day cover included.

Tried the other usuals like Direct Line Prestige, wanted £4800 gulp lol, Adrian Flux, Hastings, A-Plan etc.

I pay £600 for my 98 F355 GTS with Mclarrons Insurance, they were at least 25% cheaper than the others and their cover was better in so many ways
