Just a massive thumbs up to DL Ferrari Swindon..My first experience with a Ferrari dealer was Thursday when i took my beloved 458 to then for its annual service..The standard of service and quality of all the staff i encountered was very impressive..My 458 had an overdue Airbag recall done and its annual MOT..I also requested a full wheel alignment on top of everything, which was a big ask as i didn't arrive until after 10AM due to the longer than anticipated 140 mile drive as a result of horrendous driving conditions.
They managed everything by 4.30PM however during the test drive the technician noticed a slight rattle coming from the dash..By the time they had eliminated a loose dash it had hit 5PM. I suggested that rather than taking a courtesy car home it would be more prudent to stay the night at the Holiday express next door to allow the technician the following morning to find and fix the offending rattle.
Turned out it was a loose front wheel arch lining and nothing serious..When i settled the quite reasonable bill they insisted on making an allowance of £100 to cover the cost of the overnight stay. Wasn't expected as it was me that suggested i stay the night.
The 458 had been valeted like new and the alignment check proved worthwhile as the rear toe was way out..
To recap what a great Ferrari dealer and lovely staff to deal with and a real credit to the Ferrari brand..I will be using them again and will buy another Ferrari from them when my finances allow.
