Is very a happy route for the cable out of the door that doesn’t damage the cable whilst the door is shut?

My 360 cable just comes out at the bottom of the door and has done for the past 6 years with no damage to the cable.

Yes, has worked fine for years with my C-Tek.

You could drill a small hole and run the cable forward through the passenger footwell into the front boot. That way you can leave it locked and close the boot when plugged in, I did this on 2 360's and a 430.

as above, i just bought a c-tek extension cable and closed the door on it, didn't have any issues in 3.5 years i had it.
