‘Cheap’ F430 manual in the classifieds

This seems to be at a different price point to other manual F430.
Colour and mileage against it or something above and beyond this? Text claims it to be HPI clear.

That’s quite refreshing to see, it’s almost the same as my experience of the F430, just goes to show, these are really good cars.
I’ve also had mine along time , 7 years, just turned 50k, it hasn’t let me down even once and still looks brand new. The first clutch lasted 25k miles so a new one can’t be far away, last service showed 1/3 left and I definitely need a couple of ball joints up front, the clattering is back. Funnily enough, there’s no free play from the joints and they passed the MOT. I had a long tour planned last month, Orkney and west coast Scotland, so I figured I might as well leave the joints until after the battering they were going to get. If you buy one of these cars to pose about on the high street, rattling ball joints will drive you bananas, but if like me, you just want to thrash around the countryside all the time, you don’t hear them at all when you’re having fun.
I wish the guy luck with his sale and for any potential buyer, that reads as a well prepared car ready for another 30k of trouble free motoring, to anyone interested, don’t be afraid, if it checks out, buy it!
Footnote:
My car is br d’s old car, probably about five cars ago for him, F1 with red and cream, if you’re there brad, hello my friend

Corinthian, if you are who I think you are - it was great to see you using your car on Orkney. I thought it was hilarious seeing a Ferrari get crammed into the ferry, the guys up there really don't give a monkeys. Seems like messing the ticket up was a good plan as we obviously got pride of place for first exit off the boat in the Cayman!I’ve also had mine along time , 7 years, just turned 50k, it hasn’t let me down even once and still looks brand new. I think your car demonstrates that these cars do better for being used, enjoyed the way they were meant to. After all, they were engineered to be driven not engineered to sit still.
A manual 360 would be high on my list of potential future purchases - the sound of your car as you overtook on those causeways was a small slice of heaven.
Hope to see you again soon - I'm sure you'll keep in touch with Ed.

Erm I suppose you have seen the 'interesting' service history.
A 5 year gap with nothing at all and then history with a SuperCar 'Specialist' I have never heard of. Anyone used them?.
That gap is a long time ago though (both in time and especially mileage) - so probably nothing much to worry about A 5 year gap with nothing at all and then history with a SuperCar 'Specialist' I have never heard of. Anyone used them?.
@grm944, yep, it’s me, good detective work!
It was great to meet you on the Pentilina, Orkney was a spectacular drive and if a Ferrari had feelings, mine would have been ecstatic on that trip, in fact, that car has had the life of Riley all it’s living days. It turned 50k miles as we approached Tongue in the far North of Scotland, singing its heart out and dancing from corner to corner.
Each to their own, but bouncing off the limiter In an Asda car park to impress Youtubers, or locking it away for fear it depreciates is just plain cruel!
Back to that guy’s 430, it’ll be a brilliant car if it’s as good as he says, worth a call to have an explanation about the patchy history but it’s actually quite a simple car to check the mechanicals.
Service history doesn’t guarantee a good car, electrical components in particular can suffer age related defects and these don’t receive much attention during periodic servicing, regular use is the best preventive maintenance.
I don’t come to pistonheads often, but I’ve suddenly become interested in the McLaren 720 after a few have caught my eye and there’s a healthy amount of griff on here regards them.
Mostly it’s because I’m tight-fisted and can’t resist a bargain and oddly enough, due to my stubborn, contrarian nature, the more bad I hear about them, the more I think I’d like one!

Allow me to put you off the 720S in that case Mostly it’s because I’m tight-fisted and can’t resist a bargain and oddly enough, due to my stubborn, contrarian nature, the more bad I hear about them, the more I think I’d like one!
By telling you that mine has been completely bullet-proof in 16 months since new. Not a single fault, issue, glitch or warning light.
