Headlight sidelight bulb holder

Hi Guys

Hoping someone can help!

Went to change the sidelight bulbs to LED's and got the passenger one changed OK, but when it came to the drivers side, the bulb holder would not separate to allow access to the bulb.

Does anyone know if the bulb holder is available as a separate part? I have looked on Eurospares diagram and cannot see it.

Which one of the many V8s?
On my 360, one of them was really difficult. I squirted in some WD40 and used a pair of gas pliers to turn it.

I dont remember those 2 screws being there on mine. Was a couple years ago that I did it, so might be mistaken... Have you tried undoing them?

I have unscrewed them and removed the whole bulb holder and it still will not unscrew. Totally seized solid.

All I can say is mine was really difficult too. Had to hold it with gas pliers and wiggled up down, left right, circles etc along with wd40, to try break the bind.

If you’ve still got filament lamps in then the heat could have melted the bulb to the housing.
It’s a known problem with the 360....
Care and perseverance should get it out.

I’ve not seen the lamp holders available separately and they do look like a special.

Have you searched FChat for any inspiration?

I will pull it out again at the weekend and have a look, from what you say it does look like the heat has fused them together.

The passenger side was a doddle! It seems crazy that Ferrari don't sell this part separately.

Not tried F'chat, will have a look tonight.
