growling cali T

Loving my california T but have one small niggle

when [auto] changing down on low revs - say 1200 rpm going up hill - the engine growls noisily which attracts a lot of unwanted attention / feels a bit boy racer, and could be dangerous if passing horses etc

is this normal ?

previously I had a v8 vantage and it would do like wise but only when pushing on above 3500 rpm....

Repeat after me: "I'm driving a V8 Ferrari, not a Renault, not a Suzuki not a <insert almost all other brands of car>..."

I thought my T was louder than the original apart from on start up

Think I might buy another one they are looking good value now
