GTC4 Lusso T - owners reviews?
Discussion
Hi all,
Toying with the idea of adding one of these to the garage in the not too far distant future.. however I'm struggling to find any owners reviews. Anyone out there with one?
Would be interesting to here some real life reviews.. and is it mad to be considering a V8 one of these over a V12? Or should I save some money and go for an FF?

Head on over to Ferrarichat. Lots of discussion about the FF vs the Lusso vs Lusso T.
In short, the consensus is that the Lusso is more refined but softer than the FF, the Lusso T is sportier than the Lusso but still softer than the FF. The Lusso materials quality (leather and parts) are a bit more lightweight than the FF. The Lusso trounces the FF on the infotainment system and some people prefer the looks, especially the back end.

I own an FF and drove the Lusso at a Ferrari event on ice and road (never the t though). I prefer some parts of the FF and others of the Lusso - I would nonetheless likely take the Lusso if buying now just because newer, longer warranty and relatively good value given those aspects). I don’t care about the - much better - infortainment - but as a daily more warranty is better
From what I understand The T never sold well in Europe as people want the V12 / no issues with displacement (as I would, I wouldn’t even entertain the T regardless of price - the point for me is to own a daily driver V12 From Ferrari)
So FF vs T, I’d always take the FF but if 50k more is ok a lusso is hard to pass up as a long term proposition

Thanks all, some interesting chat on Ferrarichat.. quite mixed reviews however the general consensus is it's a lighter more agile feeling car just lacking the drama of the V12 but perhaps that could be fixed by an exhaust modification of some sort.
thing is, it will never be an agile car when compared to a 2-seater option (they are all agile for their size/weight though). It is really a family/dog carrier/daily type car and if bought with that in mind, then there is nothing better in my opinion. If one wants more of a weekend car, then I'd suggest a 599/F12/812 (or if 4 seats are a requirement, I'd seriously consider a 612 - I think they have aged really well/have not driven one though)Edit: Just to add, pretty sure a 612 is less agile - so wouldn't counter that issue, but a F1 transmission is imo more involving to drive than DCT

My indy advised against getting a 612. He said it's a barge in comparison to the V8s and he was blown away by my FF when I got it.A friend who has an F12 just traded his 612 in for a Lusso T and is loving the Lusso T as a daily.
I had an FF for 2 years, I've then had a Lusso T for 14 months which has just gone for an 812 Superfast.
Comparisons are interesting as there are pros and cons to both.
The Lusso is way better built, more refined, more agile, roomier especialy in the back, the RWS make it easier to park, the infotainment is brilliant, I think it looks much better, overall it's a huge leap on from the FF.
Only downside of the Lusso is they're a newer car and as such depreciation will be greater, apart from that it's better in every way.
Then you've got the V8T vs V12 debate.....
The V8T is more torquey which is great in everyday driving, it a much more alive / agile drive than the V12, however you havent got the all weather traction of the 4WD V12 and nothing sounds like a V12.
Overall I'd go a Lusso if you can, drive V12 and V8T and see which you prefer.
They are only allowed to advertise a certain number, however the dealers are rammed with stock of Lusso so there are deals to be done.

I’ve had a V12 Lusso for a year and really like the car. I drove the V8 and initially preferred in some ways - it’s livelier and sportier - but the sound of the V12 won me over. I drove an FF years ago and didn’t like it nearly as much as the Lusso. Not sure why - maybe I just wasn’t ready for it.
