I don’t have a lot of experience with Ferrari but I have just purchased a Portofino and the DAB is truly awful. There is interference and the signal spends more time dropped out than working. I have DAB in other cars and it is fine. Is it a case that Ferrari DAB is notoriously bad or is it likely that there is something wrong with mine?

Hi, the DAB in my 488 is also terrible. Do you like the Portafino? I am considering one.

Entertainment systems in Ferraris are always bad.
My 2011 Mini has DAB but my 2011 458 doesn't.

And don't get me started on the actual sound.

Guess they make it soo bad you don't want to listen to it and realise the reception is crap.

Not had an issue with the DAB in my 488 - might be location related?

DAB in mine works very rarely. Only offers a random selection of about 6 or 7 stations so I just use Spotify

Not too bad in my 488 Spider but depends on station and location. JBL is a big improvement over the standard system. Interestingly Ferrari have added a shark fin aerial on the Pista to improve DAB reception.

My 488 radio is also not good, nowhere near as good as the one in my range rover.

The dealer said "you pay for the engine and chassis not the radio"
