Hi,
I'm currently giving the interior a freshen up on my 355.
It was suffering from the soft touch coatings going tacky on the plastic parts which have all been removed, cleaned and re coated. I have also bought a new overlay for the hvac controls which had started to bubble.

But as is all stripped down i think it would be worth getting the dashboard looked at as the leather and padding underneath have shrunk back, particularly around the vents and airbag cover.

Also the cream leather is sporting 20 years of small marks and fading throughout so i would like this dealt with too. There are no rips and and all the bolsters are good.

A few years back i see a 355 which had just had all the seats Re coated and it looked fantastic.

Does anyone have experiences of having this work done? Or recommend anyone that can do the job?
Thanks

I've just had the leather interior (seats, door cards etc) of my Mk2 Jaguar removed, 'painted' and re fitted in the same colour (cream) to freshen it up and it looks superb. It doesn't rub off, it just looks like the original interior from 1961, spanking new.

Glyn is the detailer that did it, you can find him at https://www.elitedetailer.co.uk. He's a really nice chap and I'm sure he'll be happy to give you some advice even if you're too distant to use him. Mention Richard who had his classics paint corrected this winter and the Jag and he'll know who I am.

Hope that helps.

Yes speak with Claire at Kent High Performance Cars. Have re-covered my 355 dash and freshened up my crema seats in the past and results were fantastic

What’s a ball park figure on having the dash done? Mine could do with being done
