Bovee adapter packed in

Hi all. I'm after a bit of help please.

I've had a Bovee bluetooth adapter working in my 458 Spider for 5 years without any issues.

Got the car out for summer, been for it's service etc at the dealer and.....the Bovee 1000 isn't working. My iPhone is connected to the car for telephone but when I plug the Bovee 1000 into the iPod connector the dash flashes 'iPod' as usual but then it goes off and I just have HDD and DVD to choose from.

I plugged an old iPod into the car and it worked fine.

I do have a new iPhone Xs that I got over winter (6s before) but have tried to connect the Bovee to the car with an iPhone 5 and my old 6 connected to the car, still does the same.

I would be very grateful if anyone had an idea how to sort it please? It may be that I need a new Bovee or possibly a new device has come along since I bought the Bovee?

Ignore me, all sorted. Superb customer service from the manufacturers.
