Hi All,

After years of lusting and months of searching I finally took delivery of my 458 last week. I went for the Nero car at Redline which apart from not having front lift was my ideal spec. A week in, I am thoroughly in love and can't wait to get to know her more over the next months.driving

I wanted to thank all who have imparted their wisdom on the various threads which massively helped my search (apart from the eternal lift vs. no lift debate!) and particularly Taffy66 and Jtremlett who were kind enough to provide their invaluable advice offline. A great testament to the positive aspects of PH.

Redline were great to deal with, I think after Romans they probably have the best stock of any dealer at the moment, I could have spent hours drooling in their showroom. The only issue was the northern rain on the drive back until I reached sunnier climes towards London. smile

Now just need to figure out a plan for the Forza component exhaust control mod. cool

Here's a pic and to avoid any derails, the front plate has now been fitted:

That’s pretty much the same as my car. Well done.

Gray Paul’s fitted my forza valve a few weeks ago and it’s well worth the small cost in comparison to a complete novitech or capristo.

She's truly a beauty and a safe buy as Redline only deal in the better cars..I enjoyed helping you with the 458, however the impression i got was you're a very well informed guy and as a result i was flattered to be involved..
Wish you a safe and enjoyable ownership of your new Black Italian steed..

I almost bought that in the summer but couldn't get close enough on a deal. Great looking car though, so enjoy!

PS, I would have left the front plate off biggrin

Thanks - did you get your forza valve direct from them via their website?

Haha, I am selfishly glad you couldn't. It was shame to ruin the lines by putting the plate on, but it's not full size at least. whistle
