Have just been sent some photos of what looks like an F430 by a mate. Said he spotted it out on a walk the other day and has asked me how much I think such a repair would cost, because I’ve owned a few F-cars.....I politely explained that as I’ve never let one of mine get that way, I didn’t have a clue. Then thought I’d share the pics here incase anyone has more of an idea.

Here it is.....

That's not too bad - a skilled SMART repairer could probably get the panels OK & if not the wings are not too bad from a scrappy, you can reuse the wing badges too, they just pop off with a flathead screwdriver

I can see that the wheel is fine as are all the ducts & gubbins

I know a guy who does a lot of these mainly Astons, Ranges, Bentleys, he's done my Boxster where someone scratched the door & is very reasonable
I'd say based on my experience anywhere from £300-£450, only proviso is if it needs a new panel then it's going to be more like £750-£800

You'll need to tow it with a rope as there's no way that's safe to drive with the window open like that so you'll need something nice and torquey like a 2.0 diesel Mondeo or Zafira, the good news is the eye is included with the Fezza, it's already on so no searching in the bloody boot for it

If the alignment is knocked off then Kwick fit do tracking for £19.99 I have never seen the point in a full geo, 9 times out of 10 you can just bang it back into square

If this is all too much hassle, your local Ferarri dealership will have an approved body repair centre & will come and tow it away but you'll be well into £900+ if you use them they are more expensive on the whole than the dent guy

The bad news is it's going to be off the road for at least a couple of days & personally to avoid disapointment I'd allow 3-4 days for the work

If you need my SMART repair guy's details let me know

The radiator very likely might be cracked as well, but I'm sure a bit of radweld will sort that out. It'll add £3.99 to the repair bill though.

Wiper blades look ok. Do you think the arms could be bent back into shape without too much trouble?

Hahahahaha! Not sure why I expected anything else. Can’t imagine that certain garage in Keighley recovering it from overseas mind you! I almost bought something from there once, gulp!

I am actually quite intrigued now myself to see what it could cost to repair though, so if anyone has any genuine opinions fire away. I already told my mate that i guess he’d be looking at £20K min, plus the hassle of getting it “back” here (he said it was RHD so I’m assuming it started life here).

Assuming its even repairable I would say £30k. I am far from an expert...

The NS wheel has gone a long way back though so could well be toast.

Even if it is you can get a new Wolfrace one for Halfords for £60 as long as you don’t mind them not matching

For the poster who suggested T Cut... ha ha ha. I think anyone can see it’s a bit beyond that

Just needs detailing.
That seems to be the answer these days.

Guess how much this one cost then after some numpty crashed it. It was fully repaired in order to proceed with a court claim so I know the cost to the penny! And I wasn’t the numpty driving but it was my car.

I'd love to know! And did you keep it after? I'm guessing in the £50k area but can't really see it all

So it was £139k. Had new shell. Parts alone were £105k! I kept it for short while until claim was settled by driver just before court then sold it. Someone got pretty much a new 458 cheaply!

The F430 is an insurance write off.

As to whether or not it's repairable I would need to look at the base of the A pillar with the door open. If the damage is confined to the front part of the chassis then it is eminently repairable.

The bloke i bought my car off his mate is an ex-sas SMART repairer, reckon he could bosh that out in about a day and a half tank
