Speciale or 991.2 GT3 Touring?

Hi all,
Contemplating a move to a Speciale, as much as I love the Touring.. in fact it is the most exciting car I’ve ever had the pleasure to drive - let alone own! The noise it makes, the urgency through the revs to 9k, the way it looks and handles. It really is quite something.
Although the pinnacle for me is a Speciale, a big leap so I would be interested to hear fellow owners past and present on their thoughts here.
Ideally I would want a sub £300k car, maybe one that has more than 5k miles on, in a shade of Grigio, Silverstone, Ferro or even Titanio. Or perhaps a blue one.
I keep looking but it seems that any cars with miles on must perhaps be keepers! I’ve seen a few higher miles cars but not in my preferred colour.
Would love to hear your thoughts and if anyone lives in London or not too far out and fancies a meet and drive that would be amazing!

I don't have a touring but I do have several GT3 and GT3RS including the latest ones and I also have a Speciale. If I was forced to choose between a GT3 or a Speciale I would choose the GT3 everytime. Just something that makes me feel so much more connected to it than a Ferrari when I drive it.
I had a new 991.2 GT3 Touring and sold it after 3000 fantastic miles last October.
The replacement is a Ferrari 488GTB (not quite a Speciale) but I have to say the 488 is on a different level to the Porsche, even the Turbo sound is far better than some made out (compared to the 458)
The only concern with the Speciale may be how mile sensitive they are going to be to keep your cars value at a good level. I know we don't all buy cars to make money, but depreciation is something to be looked at if you are going to use the car a lot.

Fortunate also to spend a few days on the Pilota course with a Speciale a couple of years ago, and a good few days with a friends 2013 GT3 later. I loved both. I also had a Scuderia. I found the Porsche was easier to drive around the roads because of its width compared to the Speciale. Front track is quite a bit wider. The seating position in the Porsche is also a bit more upright. (In my opinion! ) I feel like the GT3 vs 458 battle is one for the ages. We have a 997.2 GT3RS and a Speciale which were purchased after reading the Evo 200th edition best cars ever list. It was essentially GT3RS best of the old school and Speciale best of the new (which is probably not the new anymore with everything moving to hybrid, turbo etc). And I think it is personal preference between them, I feel incredibly lucky to not have to choose and get to cover both bases but if absolutely forced to I would keep the Speciale. If you go for an hours long drive every weekend and spend your time planning your next week long driving trip then you may enjoy the effort-reward relationship a manual GT3 has to offer. If you have a bit less driving time like me then you may prefer the every single minute is electrifying experience that a Speciale has to offer. 
This might sound weird and stupid, but a totally original speciale doesn't have that much on a gen 2 gt3, but had an aftermarket muffler to it and experience wise gt3 has no chance. The unleashed sound of a Ferrari V8 has no match, drive experience is just augmented 3 fold to oem, you just become imersed on the driving, if you do ct off then it's heaven, a gt3 just becomes boring in comparasion.
Further, both cars are an easy sell and buy, if you don't like it you could always get into another touring. A car I'm thinking about how it would fare against a speciale is the huracan performante. It would be hard to part with the tremendous active and fun rear slip of the speciale, but maybe the huracan has something more to offer?

And it shows everyone is different I suppose. Imo the speciale is a really really good car to drive, far better than any 991 era gt porsche.I've not driven a 991.2 GT3 but I've enjoyed a UK and Italian road trip in my Speciale. For: superb agility, fabulous performance, best NA V8 on the planet, aggressively elegant styling. Against: speakers are crap (but hardly a burden versus the sound of the V8.

And......''because this is an atmospheric engine – nothing less than the most energy-dense naturally aspirated engine in any road-legal car in the world, according to Ferrari – the quantity of the power that it makes is exceeded in staggering brilliance only by the astonishing way in which it makes it".
The Speciale is one of the greats, IMO of course.
