Hi All

My dad has only done about 50 miles in his California T this year + the drive to the dealership for it's MOT and Service...

After moaning at him for never using it, he's taken it to Paris today for the weekend. Quite a long drive after it being sitting for months.

He has told me that from about 45mph or so, he can hear a whirring noise from behind him and it gets louder the faster you go - he's now worried that he's going to end up stuck in France and cannot work out what the noise is - though he doubts it could be a wheel bearing which was my first thought.

Any suggestions? Are there any known issues with the Cali-T like this?

Car is about 3 years old with about 5k on the clock. He really should lend it to me in future.

Is he sure its not wind noise from where rear window seals onto deck lid?

Try it with roof down to see if he can still hear it.

Thanks all - my dad did get back ok and Ferrari picked the car up this morning... I'll update you when I know what it was! My money is still on wheel bearing despite him insisting it isn't!
