This is good advice, it’s worth paying for a Ferrari pre purchase inspection- see below a report I had on a 2011 458, it was eye watering and I ended up pulling out of the purchase as a result.They are expensive but worth every penny.

Yes the spice girl thing is a bit strange given the market he’s trying to move it in ( and he’s mentioned he’s had the leather reconolised ( not fully sure what that means but presume it’s now fully de spiced !!!
However was discussing it with my family yesterday during lunch and a spice girls song came on !!! Is it a sign 😂😂😂
A few people have said allow 8 k so not too surprised !! Thanks for the print out !!!
Yes going to spend the money and get it checked out for sure once I find out the location

Not casting aspersions but main dealers have a vested interest in selling you their stock, talking up the value of buying from them vs private, etc.
To give an alternative take - take a F430 with 70% clutch wear. I bet any money you would be having a different conversation with a main dealer depending on whether you were buying it or trying to sell it to them. If it was the latter, they would likely be talking about how they would need to change it during the prep, and factor that cost into their offer to you, and if you were buying it - suddenly there is "plenty of life left in it".
Unfortunately if you aren't mechanically minded then an authority telling you that you "need new intake flaps and control mechanism", or that those parts & labour reasonably cost £5400+ - you aren't really in a position to argue.
If it were me looking at that car I'd want a second (and third) opinion on that particular issue. Could it be resolved with an ECU reset? Is it just a point in time error or a constant thing? A cursory Google search suggests there is a flap position sensor in the plenum which can fail, rather than the flaps themselves... if that's faulty, why does the whole assembly and control unit need replacing?
The other stuff on the list is largely wear and tear and I suspect most peoples cars on here would have fine tooth comb "issues" that are similar.

I bought a Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder instead, when I took it for a service I test drove a Huracan Performante.... subsequently ordered one and that got delivered in May this year.

Safe to say I would never use them again.
