You can't use a CoC for a generic car, you need to go to your dealer with your registration documents and request one, it is tied to your chassis number, the CoC is to prove your car is compliqant with E.U specification and not for example a US federal spec or gulf spec car, if you don't have a E.U C.o.C then you have to have the car go through an import type approval inspection. Just take your documents to a local Ferrari dealer and they will arrange the C.o.C for you.

Exactly.This is how I registered a Scuderia I imported to the UK.
I cannot recall the exact cost but it was around 400 Euros.
You will receive a single sheet of paper - photocopied, with the car details. From the Factory. Takes about 7 - 10 days.
