430 Scuderia Fire Extinguisher

Hi Guys,

Does anybody have any recommendations for supplier/fitter of the fire extinguisher seen as an option on many 430 Scuderia?

Ours doesn't have one fitted and I would like one installed as the rear of the car gets frighteningly hot...!

Would this be a main dealer only thing or could a specialist help?

You need to decide if you just want a fire extinguisher or if you need it to be absolutely original in which case a small fortune at the Ferrari parts department is needed probably to cover extinguisher / sleeve / brackets / carpets assuming the parts are still available - a specialist may have experience of the best way to install compared with buying mail order from some-one like Demon Tweeks

It was all available at the end of last year and is not particularly expensive, but bear in mind it won't really help in anything other than a very small, localised fire. There are covers to suit standard texture trim, Alcantara, or leather.

To be honest it's far easier and cheaper to have a local trimmer make the cover for you to suit your spec. The brackets are £400ish and the extinguisher £250.
