430 Scuderia Door Speaker Install
Discussion
Am looking to install some subtle door speakers in to my Scud. Does anyone have any experience of a high quality ICE fitter in London or South East they can recommend? I say high quality as they will need to be capable of cutting in to the carbon without getting it wrong (gulp).
Appreciate any feedback.

Wow, brave move. Cutting into the carbon door panels and adding weight isn't going to appeal to all. I presume you intend keeping the car by doing something permanent.Appreciate any feedback.
I would still speak to some installers as there might be some other solutions which are removable but still get the sound you want.
I saw one with a nicely trimmed contoured box made to fit under the head unit and on the central tunnel and with bass units under/behind the seats which were all removable and able to be put back to stock
This is exactly what I am working on at the moment. If you can bear with me for a couple of months I will write up the process and detail in pictures; it will be tacked on to the end of my project thread: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
FYI what I've found so far is there isn't a a lot of room due to the insert in the door card i.e. the part the storage net is mounted to. I want to use a 165mm driver as I see it as the minimum really, so I may well end up modifying the panel slightly.
