Stopped for some fuel and she won't select gear.... got flashing trans light. Checked fluid and whilst not to the brim it's got some.

Tried ecu reset made no difference.

Anyone got any words of advice?!?!?

Back home now recovery truck to the rescue! Not a good way to spend an afternoon! Will have to look into it tomorrow but I suspect F1 relay?

If you can't hear the pump then relay/ fuse first, think I read the relay is behind the passenger seat? if not then might be the pump or the actuators are known to bend and jam frown

Best place to start - do you have a multimeter? The earth of the coil side is managed by the TCU so working on terminals 85 and 86 (the smaller of the two wires to the relay housing) with ignition on, check there is 12v on one and earth on the other. Next check for vBat (+) at one of the thicker wires. If that's all well ignition off, pop the relay back in, ign on and check for pos and neg at the pump end of the wiring (red for pos and black for earth at the pump end of the 355).

The relay is separate to the main relay board (behind footrest) and next to a couple of maxi fuses (Some owners manuals don't actually list the position!)

I checked the fuses in the fuse box but I missed the 2 large ones (which apparently are F1 fuses) that are separate, only realised that after put the car away. Will have a look tomorrow night and hopefully its something simple as its the start of the season now and bit of a pain if I have to put it in for some work just as the weather turns decent LOL. First world problems and all!

Thanks had a look at the wires to the F1 pump whilst waiting for recovery and they looked ok but that's as far as I could go at the road side. I do have a DVM so will have a poke about tomorrow cheers.

sounds daft but mine wont select gears if the boot or bonnet is not shut correctly - keeps jumping out!

maybe the fuel cap is linked to whatever trick circuitry may be in place?

probs something of nothing - hopefully

Sounds like F1 pump packed up, check relay first as others have said, if that is ok then check out Hills Engineering I’m sure they do an adaptor to use a 360 pump which was more powerful.
I did read somewhere about an owner sourcing an Alfa Romeo piump which is the same, do a search on club scuderia or f chat
