458 paddle shift removal

Hi getting mixed info on the removal.
1 says to remove air bag before installation.
2 says just turn wheel until screws are just visible and unscrew carefully.
Any thoughts please.

You can do it with the wheel in place, with a long ball ended Allan key, but it is tight.Also it is possible to cross thread the securing bolts when refitting, easier just to take wheel off in my opinion.

I did similar to my f430 but wondered if it was different on the 458.

Did Mine with this tool bit tight but worked fine.
