Hi

Has anyone put a Ferrari 458 on the Dussledorf to Valencia motorail? The max width for motorail is 195cm, according to their website, which will be very tight to my wing mirrors folded in.

No experience but surely the 195cm will be the track that your cars wheels will have to go between?

Yes, a group of looked into this two years ago. The width indicated is the max width to the outside edge of the tyres. An f430 is too wide...

Weird, but my 458 from outside edge of tyres is just under 195.

Just spoken to the train company and it won’t fit! Trains out.

Definitely driving there and back now!

I've taken my R35 GTR on the OBB Motorail several times, I'd be surprised if the 458 is wider. I will go and do a quick measure up and get back to you.

Ok, just been and measured the GTR and the 458, both are exactly the same, 190 cms.
I think you will be ok to put it on the train.

I'm thinking of the Motorail again next year,

Urlaubs ask for dimensions of the width, mirror to mirror folded. My DB7's track is well within tolerance but the mirrors (that dont fold) make the car too wide technically. Has anyone 'risked it' and been able to travel?
I've used Motorail loads with my previous Vantage S, expensive but adds to the holiday experience imho.
