Howdy can anyone recommend any suppliers for touch up pens for Ferrari 488? Got a few stone chips on the bonnet could do with touching up.

This is a good diy thread.

Worth, also, paying a pro detailer to fill in chips. Costs a bit more, but worth it for good quality. Even good old Chipsaway can do a decent job, these days.

Chipex is a decent option for the paint.

I've just used the Dr Colorchip kit to treat the road rash on a red Alfa 156 GTA.

Painless and very easy to do. I'm happy with the results - not as good as a respray but hard to spot from more than a yard.

There's a chap on YouTube who's done it on his Ferrari and professed himself reasonably happy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AcXcFDvqCs . Slightly soporific delivery but worth a watch?

got my Rossa Corsa touch up paint from:
BodyTechnics, 381 Sykes Road, Slough, SL1 4SP
01753 505 900

Ferrari UK officially approved body shop.

And it was free!

one word of advice, use a pin rather than the brush in the cap to touch up stone chips

I used Dr. ColorChip to touchup some minor chips on my F430. Most of them look fine now from nearly any angle and a few are invisible even when I'm trying to find them. A great product and highly recommended.

Halfords mixed up some Rosso Corsa for me. Perfect match. Apply with a cocktail stick rather than the crappy brush in the lid of the stick.

It's just paint - no need to go anywhere special.

I always recommend Chip Ex to my clients - http://www.chipex.co.uk/

Spot on colour match and the hardener is incorporated into the colour so no separate clear coat to apply after the colour.

cheers
