Just fit a Forza valve controller, makes the 458 exhaust much better and a much cheaper option. Steve Bisel will supply direct from the States to the UK.
Like the idea of the valve controller, any idea who would be able to install it in the UK?Thanks

I got one of these on my 430 from Forza used with the OEM back box and it works great! (I have AP manifolds and tubi test pipes). Made the car liveable after being too much when I had a tubi back box as well previously!
The Forza Valve Controller is a superb piece of kit and an absolute must.
Got mine direct form Steve too with no hassles what so ever. Great chap to deal with
Carried out the instal myself on my F430, and went down the route of "hard wiring" a 3 Position Rocker Switch in place of the Cigar Lighter in the Ash Tray (there was some swearing involved !).
Forward: Valves Open
Centre: ECU Control
Back: Valves Closed

Overhaul - I like your install. I was going to use the Launch Control button location for mine but haven't sourced a suitable 3 position rocker switch yet. Can you tell me where you got yours?red_duke said:

Thank you I had to do some back tracking to find it again, but the switch I used came from RS.
It's a version with a Rubber Boot, which gives it a nicer action, and looks better too.
Details are:
RS Stock No. 706-4054
Brand. ZF
Mfr. Part No. KDH3CNA1BBB
Contact Configuration: DPDT
Switch Operation: On-Off-On
Diameter: 20.2mm

Slots into the Cigar Lighter Cage hole pretty much perfectly, although you might want to wrap a turn of PVC Tape round for a tight fit.
You will have the modify the bottom of the cage to all the Switch to sit down properly, and as the space is very tight I suggest you solder all the wiring the the Switch Terminals and put Connectors further down line.
If you're really talented with the Soldering Iron you can retain the Illumination function of the cage too.
Only downside is you are effectively making the Cigar Lighter redundant as this is a one way trip.
However I justified that with "I don't smoke", so why not make better use of whats there
If you need any help drop me a PM.

Interesting tip gents I didn't know about this.
Out of interest what's the noise difference on the 458 then ? Any noise clips on YouTube ?
Curious as well for my 430 as whether t has a valve open all the time type noise ?
Noise difference is only relevant to idle/ low revs as is Race the valves are open anyway, you do get some nice pops and bangs on downchange/ overrun Out of interest what's the noise difference on the 458 then ? Any noise clips on YouTube ?
