458 Gearbox won't go into Park when stopped

As the title says, when I stop, I can't get the gearbox to go into P. I have to use the little button on the steering wheel to release the key.

Dealer says it's a battery voltage issue but...seems odd.

Anyone come across this?

All I know is that you should let the car stop whilst in 1st gear and then turn the ignition key off.
Don't select neutral before turning off the ignition. That's when you need to press the button to release the key.
