Yellow 458 Italias in the UK

I really fancy a yellow 458 Italia but they don't come up often for sale, at least on the sites I've been looking at recently. Does anyone know roughly how many there currently are in the UK, numbers-wise and as a % of total 458 Italias in the UK? Educated guesstimate?
A complete guesstimate as I'm bored......~600 Italias/600 Spiders according to the wonderfully accurate how many left 70% plus will be red, then lots of greys/blacks, a few blues and yellows. I'd guess <40 in total. The majority of those will be solid and a few will be the wonderful three layer pearl.
Jonathon Tremlett may have better actual numbers......
According to the DVLA there were roughly 820 458 Italias imported although they don't split between official UK RHD imports and others. The equivalent figure for 458 Spiders is about 620. I have about 770 UK 458 Italias in my database of which 42 are yellow and about 530 458 Spiders of which 19 are yellow. That's the best I can do without putting some time into it.

Well, DVLA say 70 imported (RHD and LHD) but I know their numbers are wrong (and have been in correspondence with them to establish why - but haven't got the right numbers). I have 61 UK RHD cars currently and I think I'm a few short. 16 of those in yellow - a much higher percentage than normal 458s, presumably because it was the launch colour for the model.Jonathan

I presume your 61 RHD includes the Singapore, Hong Kong and Australian cars which were later brought in?Jonathan
Thanks for all this really helpful feedback. If my maths is right, based on Jonathan's numbers (albeit they're not complete), just under 5% of 458s in the UK are yellow. Based on Yipper's comment about 100-150 458s being for sale currently in the UK (call it 125), you'd expect around 6 to be yellow. Given there seem to be none currently, it's either a statistical blip (I confess I haven't been looking long enough to judge that), or else there's something else going on: are yellow 458 owners holding onto them for some reason? Maybe they love them more than owners of other colours? Any other theories?
Given that the majority of owners prefer red, then for someone to order yellow indicates a higher probability of not caring about resell? Therefore one might assume that because they are less bothered about resell it's because they have less intention of ever selling? So at any given time one might expect a lower number of yellow Ferraris then statistically expected relative to number sold. So if we expect 5/6 from the number of red ones then maybe it's reasonable to expect only 0/2 to adjust for this?
How about that for a theory? I'm bored.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a yellow Spider, and I do care about resell. I'm informed that yellow shouldn't make a difference to resale value but would be interested in views on this.
Edit: Apologies I should have said on a 488 Spider. But I'm sure the answer to the question - is yellow worse for resale? is the same.

The only obvious response to this question is that the market for yellow Ferraris is smaller.
That doesn't mean they sell for less though.
But the variance in time to sell will be higher - it will either sell very quickly(because supply of them is less and therefore if someone specifically wants a yellow one then they will have to act quickly) or it will have to take longer because you will have to wait for someone who wants a yellow one or is indifferent to colour (and we know there are less people in this bracket).

Very generally speaking, the used market mirrors the new market, ie. fewer people will want yellow but fewer cars available......
However, with the explosion of things like Porsche PTS, I think the market for more left-field colours is constantly increasing (not to say yellow is left field for Ferrari, of course).
Good luck.
