With the recent rise in prices of F355's how much do you think this 1 owner, 7k miles from new F355 will sell for?

Its a shame the service history isn't more comprehensive.
Passenger airbag cover looks like it could do with some attention and possibly the usual 'sticky plastic' on the switches from the photos, but these can be sorted.
Look out for it appearing on one of the specialist dealer forecourts in a few months time with an eye-watering asking price...!

From the ad..
"The service book was stamped on 9th January 2006 by Alan Aston Motor Engineers of Evesham, at which point the car had covered just 2,501 miles and, according to their invoice for £2,708 in the file, the car was fully serviced with new cambelts and replacement brake and clutch fluid. Another invoice in the file from Dick Lovett Swindon in 2008 shows the car received some maintenance and rectification work totalling £2,984. They were entrusted with the 355 again in 2010, and on this occasion, the air-conditioning compressor was overhauled and the car was fully detailed."
This implies there is no record of oil being changed until it was 8 years old.
2501 miles were done in this period with increasingly old oil.
Will this have potentially damaged the engine? If yes, in what way?

Buy on condition is what we all say, however mileage this low will fetch a premium. Big thing to look at as a buyer. Interior will be sticky. Tyres, likely need replacing if not done in its life. Bushes.....these will be on the verge of breaking up although they'll be good as they're a solid beast but is noticeable on change. Water pump maybe and rads will be only a few years from change/recore. Service history is not what many will look at, many will look at buying...servicing, restoring. Can it be done at the right price? 10k may just about get it there.wht it goes for? Well........
I was always told with cars of this age that they are only as good as their last service. If the engine has been out and there has been a full service and check recently then there shouldn't be an issue? Of course a full history would be wonderful but rare. As to what its worth, as Much as you are willing to pay IAN100 ;-)
Having been to a few Silverstone auctions this will likely get bought by someone who will stick it in their garage and never drive it. I was at the salon prive auction 2 years ago. People who had money to burn were buying things just based on the catalog and not really having a good look at the car. Most of them had been drinking too much champagne. Not everyone I might add but there was an element of it.
This is lightly to be a garage queen and someones investment. A real shame but the reality of the current market.

How would one verify the mileage of this type of car? If I was paying a premium for this mileage I'd be wanting more than just 2 service stamps in the book.
I'll be surprised if this goes for mega bucks. As someone said, it's in no mans land with the mileage too high to be true collector, and service history lacking to be a well cared for but used example.

Yes, vendor will be kicking himself for not keeping all the early MOT certificates.I'll be surprised if this goes for mega bucks. As someone said, it's in no mans land with the mileage too high to be true collector, and service history lacking to be a well cared for but used example.

Sells for £136,125, I believe that includes the buyers premium
I am happy it sold for this, I am happy when any 355 prices are up there. Never have I seen any other car which amuture market observers as well as owners try to talk the prices down as they do to the f355s. It is what it is, and I am in the positive camp? I recall when Tom Hartley advertised that blue 355 spider 4 years ago for £100K, people laughed and then he sold it and then advertised another and seemed to start the trend. I don't hear people laughing now
Hey did anyone else see the old airing of the "classic car show" last week. It was filmed in 2005 and they were warning people of from buying the many 246 Dino's that needs work for .........£20K!!!!! Instead they advised going the extra mile and spendingl up to £40K for a better one. Wow.
Regardless of what market watchers think, no one knows what will happen.
