Calirornia iPod control

Just plugged iPod into my 2010 Cali and have access to all songs, artists and albums. But can't see how to shuffle for random play. There's an option to play all but it seems to just play everything in alphabetical order. There's a shuffle type icon at the bottom of the screen but tried touching that to no avail. Any tips welcome. Thanks

Think you need to set the pod to random and then just keep pressing next on the head unit in car.

Lol, you think maybe the whole car is a fake ? Actually just a fat finger to an adjacent key, and there's no way to edit the title after you've posted.

Thanks for the suggestion on the random. That used to work on my Merc, set to shuffle before plugging in and keep hitting next. Will try it later and hopefully it does the trick.
