Its well known all over the Internet and various forums that is a modded 12c and it still couldn't leave a stock 488
Imagine if the fezza was breathed on !!!!!

Would definitely only see the rear end of a 12C then when a 488 struggles to keep up as 488 to 458 performance is night and day.

Maybe he only does week day deliveries to avoid all the heavy sunday supplements

For me it's not just about speed. Yes the Mclaren is faster but it is in no way a better car than a 458.

Rather annoying hey?? I tuned in specially this morning for an update..
It was the only interesting thing I've read for the last few months regarding
McLaren cars.. Don't get the thread being removed?? The car failed, the owner was peeved, the dealer was trying to resolve issue and engaged in chat, the gearbox fixer also engaged in thread.

Guess the folks behind that dam annoying pop up advert stomped?!?!

For me the 12C was faster and far better so I bought one. The only thing that the 458 beat the 12C on was the servicing.
Don't get me wrong - I love Ferrari, the 458 just couldn't match the 12c - when I bought mine it as parked next to a red 458 and everybody walked past it to look at the 12C - the looks in my opinion are better. I was seriously thinking of a Ferrari but McLaren are so far ahead of Ferrari that there is no contest. If however I could afford an F12TDF then I would buy one in a heartbeat!

Agree its not just about speed but equally its not just about exhaust noise.

As a serial Ferrari owner I just felt the McLaren oozed class, exclusivity and quality and the carbon tub makes a huge difference to the whole convertible experience.
Being spoilt with the McLaren spider I can never see myself going back to a non carbon tubbed convertible - I just hate shake, rattle and roll

Lol as if that 12C is stock !

12C isn't even faster than a 570S let alone a 488.

Certainly a 458 in a straight line isn't as fast as a 12C but since when was that a deciding factor as to which supercar to sink your money into !

I'm surprised you noticed the difference, in all my McLaren test drives on road and circuit I've never climbed out thinking the carbon tub has made the drive anymore enjoyable - clearly I'm not pushing the car to the limits!

I've had numerous Ferrari's and still own my F355 GTS manual with capristo which is simply a magnificent car so I don't get the bitterness apart from whats coming from you.
