Hi guys is there an obvious way of telling replica wheels from original wheels ?

Thanks

Is there part numbers on the wheels?

Yes there is but I haven't got it yet and I can't see the numbers on mine

Think 166476 is correct for the rears ?

Not sure anyone has ever made 355 replicas - given no-one can renovate the magnesium originals its not that bad an idea

Thanks guys, I picked up two rears on Friday, don't need them but I am planning on keeping my spider for the rest of time so handy to have, just need to find a spare front at a reasonable price !! Had mine 9 years and it was my first ferrari.

There were aluminium replicas that eurospares had a few years ago .. so there definitely were some but apparently they were much heavier and unbalanced the car.

The two I bought are really good but could do with a repaint at some point.

Thanks for advice

I had mine refurbished a few months ago, can only say they look stunning, however they were pretty good pre refurb. They were worked on by Pristine Wheels.

I also was fortunate enough to pick up two new old stock wheels, they had tyres fitted but weren't used, tyres since removed. It appears they are part code 166475.

So you have two new fronts for the later 5.2 car (166475) and I have two rears (166476) if you fancy swapping a rear for a front let me know !!

http://www.eurospares.co.uk/search?partNumber=1664...

Interesting that on the above link it shows the reproduction ones euro spares have which I believe are alloy not magnesium

I'll bear it in mind, but I seem to always be casually looking for new old stock parts for my cars, so would also like a pair of rears.. it's the hoarding streak in me!
