Searching for California
Discussion
Just in case anyone on PH is looking to change their California, I am looking to buy an early'ish one.
If anyone knows of any that may be coming up for sale would appreciate the heads up.
I have been a serial changer of cars for the last few years, and now want something to settle down and grow old with!
thanks all!

Allow me to disagree on the mileage front. I think since the 458 generation people have been much more relaxed with higher miles on Ferraris as they seem to be much better built. Certainly I don't hear anywhere near the same amount of trouble with 458s than we used to hear with 430s. Condition indeed is important but I wouldn't be scared by a regularly used car.
And California if I am not mistaken is the Ferrari with the highest average miles as per Ferrari statistics.
As per essential options, I briefly looked at some but them dismissed as couldn't get on with the looks :
- I think the 30 edition in the late mk1 are much better cars.
- the 20' wheels are essential buy you can always upgrade those I guess
- carbon trim around the Nav IMHO looks much much better
- carbon and led wheel I think is essential
- Daytona seats I think are desirable
- if you find one with PPF on the front you should have no trouble with stone chips
Personally I think it looks much better in black or dark grey as "hides" the backside a bit more.
Most owners seem extremely happy with their cars so I guess you won't be disappointed.
