Hi All,

I'm looking at a 430 and I have pictures of all the stamps in the book and I'd like to know if I can just ring up any official Ferrari dealer and ask them to verify that these details are true and correct. Assuming they have links to the central Ferrari database? Alternatively are there any 'experts' out there with access to this kind of data that could help me or point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

If its ferrari dealer work done then yes ring the corresponding dealer , thats what i did , also this is a good reason to use ferrar main dealers.
The whole history of servicing is officialy logged, most reassuring. Good luck Mike

My understanding is that there is no central database of servicing going back over the years - there is access to MODIS which covers original specs and any recalls - it is possible the servicing is being or has recently been introduced as owners get limited information through the myferrari portal

MODIS certainly goes back to at least 2008-9 with complete service history. I created an owner account on Ferrari.com and under my car section I can see the complete history of my 16M. Dealer delivery date, PDI date, delivery mileage, every dealer visit (services and problems), campaigns done etc etc. The history shows the dealer, the date, the mileage and a short description of what was done for each visit.

I was able to get confirmation of the history on my 355 through the Ferrari main dealers. They sent me details of all the services which they had on record (which fortunately all tied up with the service book). I also tracked down the 2 previous owners who both kindly emailed me their ownership experiences which again verified the mileage and the service record. Just nice to have a fully verifiable history!!

Thanks to all for helpful advice; I have pictures of all the service stamps so will chase up official Ferrari dealers early next week. Hopefully they will be happy to help out.

Good tip, Russell. Thanks.
