Does anyone know / have any info on this F355?
Discussion
In 2006 it sold for £39,995 with only 18k on the clock, now on COPART salvage website with 4 days to go with current bids of £40k, looks in great condition and will be a bargain for someone, I'd bid up to £70/£75k if I was in the market, what a rare find that manual F355 RHD GTS will make for someone, I hope an individual gets it rather than a dealer, which is what happened to the F430 manual spider in grey that is on ebay as a damaged repairable for vastly more money than it sold on Copart a couple of weeks ago!!

I hadn't spotted that but it is strange because it is also advertised here on Pistonheads by Barrtech (last week at £124,995, now POA) and photographed with their plates on it. On Copart is says 'normal wear and tear' so odd it is being listed through there on that score. Jonathan
Wow, that is unrealistic, its at 42k with 1 days to go, think they will be lucky to get half of the £125k !!

Have you done an MOT history check? https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/
MOT done on 24th March says:
Advisory notice item(s)
nearside rear tyre wearing on inside edges
offside rear tyre wearing on inside edges
offside rear Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement top bushes both (2.4.G.2)
nearside rear Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement top arm bush both (2.4.G.2)
nearside front lower Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
nearside front upper Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
offside front upper Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
offside front lower Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
oil leak from engine
offside front lower Vehicle structure has slight corrosion floor pan (6.1.A.1)
If you're paying the Copart price (currently showing as £42k i think) it wouldn't be a problem per-se, as you'd have the money to send the car off to an appropriate specialist for a full suspension refresh & set-up + new tyres. I'd probably get the whole underside stripped, corrosion attended to and complete new underbody treatment.
...but if you're paying the Barrtech price and that little list hasn't been attended to
